Priced less than many wood pallets. Utilize a lightweight (22 lbs.), strong (holds 3,000 lbs. on the forklift and 30,000 lbs. static) plastic pallet that is impervious to extremes in temperatures and living organisms.

The N4840& R4840 plastic pallets consist of recycled resins and are injection molded with 16 legs for optimal stability for stacking. This rugged pallet is nestable/rackable respectively. They consume less warehouse space, and are easy to handle. It comes in basic black (other colors are available at a 15% surcharge) and is available with or without a 1" perimeter lip. Export Regulations for Wooden Pallets

The European Union has imposed measures effective October 1, 2001 that are designed to reduce infestation problems caused by insects like the Asian Long-Horned Beetle. Those regulations for shipments to Europe require coniferous wooden pallets to be either heat-treated or fumigated before shipment. Further, those wooden pallets must be marked to where and by whom the lumber was treated. See European Union Emergency Measures at APHIS for a more in-depth description of the regulations.
